French executive gets put on trial for being paid too much

A French executive, Antoine Zacharias, has become the first businessman in France to go on trial for being paid too much, in a ground-breaking move against “corporate greed”. In the end, he was acquitted as the French judge said in court in Paris that it could not ‘judge the governance of companies’.
